Bedford Power Couple Series

Bedford residents Chevy and Jayni Chase next month will discuss their lives and work as part of St. Matthews Episcopal Church’s new “Power Couples” series.

The May 11 event is the first in a series of discussions the church is hosting with local power couples.chaseblog

Chevy Chase is famous for his work as a comedian and actor in films such as “Fletch” and “National Lampoon’s Vacation.”

Jayni Chase founded the Center for Environmental Education to give schools the materials needed to build environmental education programs for students from kindergarten through the 12th grade, according to event organizers.

Catherine Crier, an Emmy Award-winning journalist, will moderate the discussion.

The event is open to the public and will start at 7:30 p.m. at the church, 382 Cantitoe Road in Bedford.

Admission is free although organizers said donations are welcome at the door. For more information, call the church at 914-234-9636
