Born and raised in Westchester, New York, Derrek came to our team as an experienced colorist with extensive corrective color training with Goldwell and Aveda. He is known as a “seasonal” color specialist, implementing delicate changes to his regular clients upon new season’s arrival and at the same time keeping his work artistic and highly personalized. His dimensional brunettes are increasingly becoming his trademark. His genuine and friendly demeanor makes him a much sought after colorist, but in the end it is his artistic talent that makes each client a loyal fan. Ever the insatiable, his passion for the art of color constantly drives him to seek new techniques and ways to improve his craft.
