Marc Black at The Towne Crier

Pictures Of The HighwayThe Marc Black Band will be at the Towne Crier Cafe, Saturday, July 24, 8 pm.  It's a chance to hear great music supported by one of the most original and funky rhythm sections.  The band features  Don Davis, horn player recently interviewed by Terry Gross on Fresh Air;  Eric Parker, drummer for the Joe Cocker and Steve Winwood Bands; Mike Esposito from the Blues Magoos; and the great Betty MacDonald on violin.
And to celebrate the great reception the disc has received across the Country (and as a thank you to local fans), Marc will be giving away copies.  Each ticket gets you a CD…free!

From the delightful, 'Ooh I Love My Coffee' to the tender 'The Moon Whispered' and the romantic 'My Live It Up Baby', this is a collection of songs that will touch you in many different ways.

Marc has been a favorite at the Towne Crier for years.  And his new CD is sure to be, as well.  "Foot-tapping grooves, excellent back-up playing and top-notch guitar and vocals…Marc' songs are timeless."  Happy Traum
