The WCC's 2nd Annual House Tour is just a few weeks away!
Six fabulous homes in Northern Westchester that really embrace the idea of maintaining a healthy balance between man and the natural world, and mesh with the Wolf Center's conservation message: "recycle, reuse, reduce!"
These homeowners are opening their doors on Sunday, June 26, to help us raise money for the care of the two new pups that arrived at the WCC earlier this month, and will make the WCC their home for the rest of their lives: Zephyr & Alawa are the "Ambassadors" who will join Atka to be part of every WCC conservation education program for the next decade and beyond.

Westchester homeowners and the community-minded brokers from Ginnel Real Estate have come together to raise money for the WCC's pup nursery and the new education center!
After checking in at beautiful "Birdstone Farms," guests will tour 6 remarkable estates at their leisure, with the option of stopping at Richard Gere's historic Bedford Post for lunch at the new Farmhouse patio restaurant!
Mystery Lake House
The homes on the tour range from a gracious, historic Ridgefield mansion, to a modern, "prairie-style" family home reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright, to a serenely private and romantic 1970s contemporary lake house built by actors Hume Cronin & Jessica Tandy (pictured left).
All the homes on the tour have one thing in common: Each was built or renovated with the specific "green" intention of conserving or reusing historic elements, and leaving the natural surroundings undisturbed. Hope to see you there!
