Brothers Richie and Salvatorre D’Errico are the last two men you would expect to find in a log cabin. When you enter their store with the log cabin exterior you can’t help but feel the warmth. Once you're in the store you are done for.
The high ceilings and refreshments in the middle of the store help. The store in Scarsdale even has fireplaces and couches. Unfortunately, you can't check- in and stay for the night.
What really makes D’Errico Jewelers stand out is that the customers are not confined to the showroom. If someone comes in to get her rings cleaned, she is more than welcome, even encouraged to step back into the shop and watch the masterful craftsmen at work. Same thing goes for sizing , setting and other repairs. If you are a little reluctant to part with your bauble the D'Eerrico Jewelers have a “While You Wait” and “While You Watch” policy, D’Errico’s is virtually a theme park for jewelry lovers. Customers can watch everything from the designers sketching potential pieces to the carving of the wax models that will eventually be transformed into the actual jewelry items themselves.
