Heididesignz

About Heidi
Heidi Ortman Sheff has got the goods. Check out her blog http://www.heididesignz.com/ to see what I am talking about. After graduating from Cornell, Heidi joined her grandfather’s firm, J.Ortman Inc., where she studied gemology and worked under Jack Ortman’s guidance for six years until he passed away. She then took over his wholesale diamond and estate jewelry company which was established in 1899 and continues to run it today with her husband, Roger Sheff, under the name of Ortman and Sheff.
Today, Ortman and Sheff specializes in one of a kind pieces, varying from high quality diamonds, color diamonds, rare precious stones, and estate jewelry with a focus on signed pieces from the Art Deco period.
Recently, Heidi has created a wearable every day line under the name of Heidi Designz which is more fashion forward and unique in its style. “I love making custom pieces using colorful gem stones and briolettes set in both 18kt. yellow and white gold and platinum”
Please take a look at Heidi’s designs; if you are interested, you may contact Heidi via e-mail. Also, please feel free to forward this blog to any jewelry lovers you know….referrals are always appreciated.
heididesignz@gmail.com don't forget to mention Stacyknows.
Most of the pieces you will see are samples and can be customized to your liking: size, color, price etc… The jewelry usually ranges from $200-5,000.

Heidi-your designs are exquisite!
That diamond ring could almost make me want to get married again- just so I could wear it as a wedding band! Of course it would be a great right hand ring as well!
