Eileen Sohn and Chris Thomas have been friends for several years. They have both studied art formally in different media and various subject matter. They have practiced art independently in personal projects as well as commissioned and freelance work. After coming together and deciding to do collaborative work in Eileen's business "Just Paint Overt It", which provides artistic services, they decided to come together and feature their individual works in one collaborative art show. Neither of them had ever organized such an event in the past and they decided that after creating dozens of works of art, they would make their work available for viewing. They hope to sell some of their pieces, but more importantly, they are pleased with being able have the exposure and to finally have their work viewed by the public.
The Show will be held on Friday, November 6th at The Katonah Memorial House which is located at 71 Bedford Road in Katonah next to the Fire House. It will start at 6pm and go till 11pm. There will be beverages, hors d’oeuvres and music. There’s no entrance fee, so come, look around, have a bite, dance a bit and maybe go home with a great new piece of artwork from a local artist.
